Deuteronomy, 17

19. He shall bring it with him and read it every day of his life, that he may learn to fear Yahweh, keeping all the sayings of the Law and putting his precepts into practice.

Deuteronomy chapter 17 deals with justice and punishment for those who disobey the laws established by God. Leviticus 19:15: "You will not commit injustice in the judgment. You will not make the sense of people with the poor, nor will you lean before the great; with justice you will judge your neighbor." Deuteronomy 19:18-19: "The judges shall inquire well; and behold, being false witness, he falsely witnessed against his brother, then you do how he took care of doing his brother; thus shall you take evil from the middle of you.
