Genesis, 41

45. And he changed his name and called him, in the Egyptian tongue: ‘Savior of the world.’ And he gave him as a wife, Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera, priest of Heliopolis. And so Joseph went out into the land of Egypt.

Joseph trusted God and was elevated to the position of governor of Egypt. This verse teaches us to trust God and allow him to guide our ways.

John 15:5: "I am the vine, you are the sticks; who is in me, and I in him, he gives a lot of fruit; for without me you can do it." Joseph was used by God to produce a great fruit by saving Egypt and the region of hunger. This verse reminds us that without God's presence in our lives we can do nothing.

Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and fortress, a good help in anguish." Joseph faced many difficulties in his life, but always found strength and refuge in God. This verse reminds us that God is always present and willing to help us in our moments of necessity.
