1 Kings, 8

9. Now inside the ark, there was nothing other than the two tablets of stone, which Moses had placed in it at Horeb, when the Lord formed a covenant with the sons of Israel, when they departed from the land of Egypt.

John 2:19-21: "Jesus answered, and said unto them, Detrine this temple, and in three days I will lift him. The Jews said, in forty-six years, this temple was built, and thou shalt get him up in three Days? But he spoke of the temple of his body. " This verse is a reference to the body of Jesus as the new temple, emphasizing the importance of faith in Christ as the way to salvation.
