1 Samuel 5 describes the capture of the ark of the covenant by the Philistines and the problems they faced as a result of taking the sacred object of Israel. You cannot drink from the chalice of the Lord and the chalice of demons. cannot participate in the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Or will we cause jealousy in the Lord? We are stronger than Him? " This verse emphasizes the importance of not mixing worship with God with pagan practices or worship with idols.
