11. For in six days Yahweh made the heavens, earth and sea and all that these contain, but on the seventh day he rested; that is why Yahweh has blessed the Sabbath day and made it sacred.

Exodus 20 is one of the most important chapters of the Bible, for in it are presented the ten commandments, which are the basic principles of God's law. These commandments are the pillars of Christian morality and ethics, and guide human behavior towards God and neighbor. From this premise, we can find the following related verses:

Matthew 22:36-40: "Master, what is the great commandment in the law? Jesus answered him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy understanding. 1 John 5:3: "For this is the love of God, Let us keep His commandments; and His commandments are not heavy." This verse shows that love for God manifests itself through obedience to His commandments, which are a reflection of His character and will to humanity.
