Numbers, 18

17. But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they [are] holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat [for] an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Chapter 18 of numbers is dedicated to Levi's tribe and his role as tabernacle priests. The following verses are related to the topics dealt with in chapter:

Exodus 29:9: "And you thou bear the belt of pure gold, and you will give the diadem of holiness in your head." This verse describes the preparation of priests for the tabernacle service, including the garment and the diadem they should wear. This passage is related to numbers 18, which deals with the designation of the Levites as priests.

Exodus 30:7-8: "And Aaron will burn smelling incense over him; every morning, when the lamp is tidyed, it will burn it. And when you light the lamps in the afternoon, it will burn incense; it will be continuous incense before your generations. .
