Luke, 5

24. But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

Luke chapter 5 begins with the miraculous fishing performed by Jesus, which draws the disciples' attention and leads them to follow him. Finally, Jesus compares his message to the need to put new wine into new odors, indicating that his preaching cannot be understood by ancient traditions.

Proverbs 28:13: "Which covers your transgressions will never prosper, but what confesses them and will reach mercy." This verse emphasizes the importance of confession and repentance, something that is illustrated in the history of the paralytic healed by Jesus in Luke 5:17-26.
