Luke, 8

10. And Jesus answered, "You have been granted to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to others it is given in the form of stories, or parables, so that seeing they may not perceive and hearing they may not understand."

Chapter 8 of the Gospel of Luke presents several parables and teachings of Jesus, including the well -known parable of the sower and the history of the cure of the woman who suffered from bleeding twelve years ago. 2 Samuel 22:29: "For you are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord is the one who illuminates me the darkness." This verse speaks of the light that the Lord gives to his followers, who can help them find the right way through darkness.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord of all your heart and do not stir in your own understanding. Recognizes Him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths." This verse speaks of the importance of trusting God and seeking his orientation in all areas of life.

Isaiah 40:31: "But those who await the Lord renew their strength. They fly loudly as eagles; they run and do not exhausted, walk and do not get tired." This verse speaks of the strength God can give to his followers, allowing them to face challenges without giving up.

John 10:10: "The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I came to have life and fully." This verse speaks of Jesus' intention to bring full and abundant life to his followers, and the opposition He faces from those who want to steal, kill and destroy.

Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not have anxious for anything; before, in everything, your known requests before God for prayer and supplication with thanksgiving; and the peace of God, which exceeds all understanding, will keep them your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. " This verse speaks of the importance of trusting God in times of anxiety and seeking His peace through prayer and gratitude.
