Wisdom of Solomon, 3

14. And fertile is the celibate, who has not wrought iniquity with his hands, nor thought wickedness against God; for to him will be given a special gift of faith and a very welcome place in the temple of the Lord.

The Book of Wisdom 3 talks about the lives of the righteous after death and how God welcomes them in His mercy. It is a chapter that brings comfort to those who suffer, stating that the end of the righteous is peace and eternal happiness. The chosen verses, in order of proximity to the themes of the chapter, are:

Isaiah 57:1-2: "The righteous perishes, and no one reflects on it in his heart; godly men are raptured, and no one understands that the righteous are raptured to be spared from evil. your beds. " The verse reinforces the idea that the righteous are spared evil and find peace after death.

Revelation 7:16-17: "They will never be hungry, they will never be thirsty again; the sun will not afflict them, nor any scorching heat. For the lamb on the throne will be their pastor; he will guide them to the sources of living water. And God will wipe away from his eyes every tear.
