Ezekiel 25 is a chapter that contains a series of judgment prophecies against neighboring nations of Israel. The verses describe the punishment that these nations would suffer because of their bad deeds and lack of respect for God and Israel. Proverbs 21:15: "To do justice is joy to the righteous, but astonishment for those who practice iniquity." This verse talks about the joy of justice to those who do what is right and the punishment for those who do evil. In Ezekiel chapter 25, nations are punished because of their bad deeds, showing how justice can be astonished to the wicked.
Amos 1:3: "Thus saith the Lord, For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not remove the punishment, because they have traced Gilead with iron rails." In this verse, God talks about the judgment of Damascus because of his transgressions. In Ezekiel chapter 25, the neighboring nations of Israel are punished because of their bad deeds, showing how God does not tolerate transgression and disrespect.
