Genesis 3 is the third chapter of the Bible and describes the fall of man in sin. He reports how the serpent tried to eat the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, how Eve gave Adam to eat, as God confronted the couple about sin and pronounced the curse over the serpent, the woman and Man, and how God expelled the man and woman from the garden of Eden.
