Genesis, 13

10. And Lot lifted up his eyes, and saw that the Jordan valley was well watered everywhere like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, in the direction of Zo'ar; this was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomor'rah.

Genesis 13 tells the story of Abram and Lot separating, after becoming very rich in cattle and goods. Abram offered Lot the choice of place where they would settle, and Lot chose the fertile land of the Jordan Valley. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Genesis 13:
