2 Chronicles, 35

14. And afterward they prepared for themselves and for the priests, because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering the burnt offerings and the fat parts until night; so the Levites prepared for themselves and for the priests the sons of Aaron.

This verse makes a connection between the Jewish Easter and the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, highlighting the importance of purification and renewal for the followers of Christ.

John 19:36: "For this happened to fulfill the Scripture, which says, None of his bones will be broken." This verse is a reference to the Paschal Lamb, which was a kind of sacrifice that symbolized the redemption of the Hebrew people. Through Christ's sacrifice, the promise of redemption is fulfilled.
