Zechariah 1 begins with a message from the Lord to the prophet Zechariah to call the people back to repentance and obedience to God's law. The chapter also features a series of visions and revelations given to the prophet, including the view of the horses and corn ears. 2 Chronicles 36:15-16: "And the Lord God of his parents sent them persistent and constantly messengers, because he had compassion for his people and their dwelling. But they moved from the messengers of God, despised their words, and molded from His prophets, until the Lord's furor went up against his people, and there was no remedy. " This verse shows how the message of Zechariah is an appeal for the people to repent and return to obedience to God, who sent many prophets before Him to remind them of his will.

" This verse shows how the visions and revelations God gives to Zechariah are a confirmation of his promise of restoration and renewal for his people.
Jeremiah 25:11-12: "All this land will become a desolation and astonishment, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years. And when the seventy years complete, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, says the Lord, for his sins, and I will punish the land of the Chaldeans, and make it perpetual ruins. " This verse shows how Zechariah's message about the need for repentance and obedience is in harmony with the prophecies of other prophets, such as Jeremiah, who predicted the exile and punishment of Judah and Babylon.
Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans of peace and not evil, to give them a future and hope." This verse shows how Zechariah's message about the restoration and renewal of God's people is in harmony with his promise that he has plans of peace and a future and hope for his people.
