St. Matthew 19 presents Jesus' teachings of divorce, wealth and salvation. Matthew 19:21: "Jesus said to Him, 'If you want to be perfect, go, sell your goods, give it to the poor, and you will have a treasure in heaven; then come and follow me.'" This verse shows how to follow Jesus demands Sacrifices and renunciations, as is also highlighted in Matthew 19:16-22, when Jesus speaks to the rich young man.
