Deuteronomy 4 is a chapter in which Moses exhorts the people of Israel to faithfully follow God's laws and commandments. He reinforces the importance of obeying God and not deviating his ways. Joshua 1:7 - "Only be strong and very brave to be careful to do according to all the law that my servant Moses ordered you; it does not deviate from it, neither to the right nor to the left, so that prudently leads to you for wherever you walk. Deuteronomy 11:26-28 - "Behold, today I put before you the blessing and the curse: the blessing, when you fulfill the commandments of the Lord your God, which today I command you; but the curse, if you do not fulfill the commandments of the Lord if you do not fulfill the Lord Your God, but you deviate from the way that I command you today, to follow other gods you have not known. " This verse highlights the importance of choosing to obey God and follow his ways in order to receive blessings rather than curses. It is a warning that Moses makes Israel in Deuteronomy 4.
