Exodus, 33

5. For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye [are] a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

Exodus 33 describes the continuation of Moses's relationship with God after the idolatry of the golden calf. Joshua 1:9: "I am not sending me? Strive and have good encouragement; do not fear, not even amazing; for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you walk." Psalm 23:4: "Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no harm, because you are with me; your stick and your staff comfort me." This verse highlights the presence of God as a source of comfort and protection for the psalmist, showing the importance of God's presence in difficult times.
