Jeremiah, 43

6. They also led away the men, women, children and the royal princesses - all those that Nebuzaradan, commander of the bodyguard, had left in the care of Gedaliah, son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, with Jeremiah, the prophet and Baruch, son of Neriah.

He never abandoned the cloud column during the day, nor the column of fire at night before the people. " This verse shows God's leadership and protection over his people, guiding them through the cloud column during the day and the column of fire at night.

Psalm 106:7-8: "Our parents, in Egypt, did not understand your wonders, did not remember the multitude of your mercies, once rebuked by the sea, the Red Sea."
