Acts, 10

42. And he commanded us to preach to the people and to bear witness that he is the one appointed by God to judge the living and the dead.

Acts of the Apostles 10 tells the story of Cornelius, a Roman centurion who had a vision and sent messengers to Peter to come to him. Peter had his own vision, which led him to understand that God makes no sense of people, and preached the gospel to Cornelius and his family. Acts of the Apostles 10:34-35: "Then Peter began to say, 'Now I truly realize that God does not treat people biased, but of all nations accept everyone who fears him and does what is just.'" Verse, Peter understands the message of his vision and realizes that God makes no distinction between people based on his nationality or ethnic origin.

Acts of Apostles 10:44-45: "As Peter still spoke these words, the Holy Spirit descended upon all who heard the message. The circumcise faithful who had come with Peter were admired, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured until even about the Gentiles. " This verse shows that despite the expectations of the converted Jews that only the circumcise would be awarded the Holy Spirit, it was poured over all who heard Peter's message, including the Gentiles.

Acts of the Apostles 10:38: "As God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he walked everywhere doing good and healing all the oppressed by the devil, because God was with him." In this verse Peter summarizes Jesus' ministry and emphasizes that God was with Him.

Acts of the Apostles 10:43: "All prophets bear witness to him, that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins by his name." Here Peter proclaims that the forgiveness of sins is available to all those who believe in Jesus.

Acts of the Apostles 10:47-48: "Then Peter said, 'Can anyone refuse the water from baptism to these people who received the Holy Spirit in the same way as us?" And ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days. " This verse shows that Peter recognized the validity of the faith of Cornelius and his family and baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ.
