Leviticus, 1

11. And he shall immolate it at the side of the altar which looks out toward the north, in the sight of the Lord. Yet truly, the sons of Aaron shall pour its blood upon the altar all around.

Leviticus 22:19-20 - "If you offer a defective animal, this will not be accepted for you. It will not be accepted in your favor, because it is defective." Leviticus 23:37 - "These are the days of rest of the Lord, days when you should summon sacred meetings and present burnt offering to the Lord, burnt offering, cereal offerings, and beverages, each on your designated day." This verse highlights the importance of observance of sacred days, when the people should offer sacrifices to the Lord as a form of worship.
