Wisdom of Solomon, 18

23. For when they were now fallen down dead by heaps one upon another, he stood between and stayed the assault, and cut off the way to the living.

The divine response to the oppression of the Egyptians and the liberation of the people of Israel are central themes in wisdom 18.
