Chapter 2 of the Book of Hosea addresses the relationship between God and Israel, comparing it with a marriage in crisis. Isaiah 62:5: "For as the young man marries the virgin, so your children will marry you; and as the groom rejoices in the bride, thus rejoicing with you your God." This verse talks about God's love for his people and his joy in seeing them restored to him. This relates to the theme of Hosea 2 about the restoration of God's relationship with Israel.
