Psalms, 55

24. But you, O God, will cast the wicked into a pit; bloodthirsty and treacherous, they will not live out half their days. As for me, I trust in you alone, O Lord.

Psalms 31:22: "But I trust you, Lord, and say, You are my God." David expresses his confidence in God, even in the midst of difficulties and betrayals.

Psalm 54:4: "Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains my life." The psalmist recognizes that only God can help and sustain him in times of distress.

Psalm 56:9: "When I cry out, then my enemies will come back; this I know, because God is for me." David trusts that God will hear him and act in his favor, making his enemies back off.
