34. The priests were too few, however, and could not slaughter all these animals, so the Levites helped them until the work was done and the other priests were sanctified; for the Levites were more educated than the priests regarding the requirements of purification.

2 Chronicles 29 reports the reign of Hezekiah in Judah and how he restored the worship of God in the temple in Jerusalem. He summoned the priests and Levites to purify the temple and the sacred utensils, as well as restore the practices of worship of God. Psalm 51:10: "Creates in me, O God, a pure heart, and renews in me a straight spirit." This verse highlights the importance of inner purification for worship of God.

Psalm 96:8: "give the Lord the glory due to his name; bring offering, and enter his atria." This verse highlights the importance of worship and praise to God.

Isaiah 1:18: "Come, and let us, say the LORD," even if your sins are like scarlet, they will become white like snow; even if they are red as Carmesim, they will become like white wool. " This verse highlights the possibility of repentance and forgiveness for those who turn to God.

Psalm 24:3-4: "Who will rise to the Mount of the Lord? Who shall remain in his holy place? What is cleaned with hands and pure of heart that does not give his soul to vanity, nor swear misleading." This verse highlights the importance of holiness and honesty for those who wish to worship God.

Psalm 116:12-13: "What will I give to the Lord for all its benefits to me? I will take the cup of salvation, and invoke the name of the Lord." This verse highlights the importance of gratitude and recognition for the benefits God gives to his servants.
