Saint Mark 14 tells the events that precede the crucifixion of Jesus, including the conspiracy of religious leaders to kill Him, the anointing in Bethany, Jesus' last supper with his disciples and his arrest in Gethsemane. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:
Psalm 41:9 - "Even my best friend, whom I trusted and who shared my bread, lifted the heel against me." This verse is quoted by Jesus at the last supper, when He predicts the betrayal of Judas. This verse is another Old Testament prophecy about the crucifixion of Jesus, which was pierced in the hands and feet by the blackheads.
