Isaiah, 66

3. Whoever immolates an ox, it is as if he slaughters a man. Whoever sacrifices a sheep, it is as if he is smashing the head of a dog. Whoever offers an oblation, it is as if he is offering swine’s blood. Whoever makes remembrance with incense, it is as if he is blessing an idol. All these things, they have chosen according to their own ways, and their soul has taken delight in their own abominations.

Isaiah 66 is the last chapter of Isaiah's book and presents a message about God's judgment and the restoration of Jerusalem. The chapter begins with God questioning who He will honor and follow His commandments, then presents the promise of restoration of Jerusalem and the coming of a new heaven and a new earth. The chapter also talks about the rejection of the wicked and the true worship of God.

Isaiah 66:13: "As someone to whom your Mother comforts, so I will comfort them; in Jerusalem you will be comforted" This verse speaks about God's consolation to your people after the restoration of Jerusalem, showing love and care of God for your children.

Psalm 50:15: "Invoke me on the day of anguish; I will deliver you, and you will glorify me" This verse presents God's promise to help those who invoke him during his difficulties, and thus will be saved and glorify his name .

Revelation 21:1: "I saw a new sky and new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed, and the sea no longer existed" this verse shows the promise of the creation of a new heaven and new earth, presenting restoration and the perfection of the world of God.
