Revelation, 18

3. Because all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication; and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her; and the merchants of the earth have been made rich by the power of her delicacies.

Jeremiah 51:7: "Babylon was a golden chalice in the hands of the Lord, who drunk the whole earth. The nations drank from the wine of his wrath; so they are now crazy." This verse describes how Babylon was used by God to punish other nations, but now it will be punished itself.

Isaiah 48:20: "Get out of Babylon! Flute from the Babylonians! Advertise this with shouts of joy, and proclaim it. Send it to the ends of the earth; say, 'The Lord rescued his servant Jacob!'" This verse It is a call for people to leave the city of Babylon before it is destroyed.
