1 Samuel, 1

1. There was a man from Rama-thaim, in the hills of Ephraim, whose name was Elkanah. He was son of Tohu, son of Jeroham, of the clan of Zuph.

James 5:16: "Confess, therefore, your sins to each other and pray for each other, to be healed. The prayer made by a righteous can much in its effects." This verse talks about the importance of prayer and mutual support in the Christian community, something Ana found in the house of God, where she poured her heart before the Lord.
