24. Now the leaders of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua, the son of Kadmiel, and their brothers, in their turns, so that they would praise and confess, according to the precept of David, the man of God. And they served equally and in order.
Nehemiah chapter 12 tells the dedication of the walls of Jerusalem after its reconstruction. In it, the priests and Levites are listed who led the people in celebrating the dedication, as well as the musicians and singers who accompanied the event.
