Ezra, 3

2. Then Jeshua, son of Jozadak, together with his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, together with his brethren, set about rebuilding the altar of the God of Israel in order to offer on it the holocausts prescribed in the law of Moses, the man of God.

Verses related to Ezra, 3:

Ezra 3 describes the reconstruction of the altar and the celebration of the Tabernacle Feast by the newly arrived Jews to Jerusalem. The chapter also mentions the beginning of the construction of the temple and the joy of priests and Levites in the face of this project.
