Exodus, 11

8. All these servants of yours shall then come down to me, and prostrate before me, they shall beg me, 'Leave us, you and all your followers!' Only then will I depart." With that he left Pharaoh's presence in hot anger.

Verses related to Exodus, 11:

In Exodus 11, God announces the last plague that will be launched upon Egypt, the death of all the firstborn. Moses communicates this to Pharaoh and the Egyptian nation. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:

Psalm 105:36: "He wounded all the firstborn in Egypt, the firstfruits of their strength in the dog tents." This psalm recalls God's actions during the liberation of the people of Israel from Egypt, including the death of the firstborn.

Exodus 12:12: "That night I will pass through Egypt and kill all the firstborn, both men and animals, and execute judgment upon all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord." This verse is a continuation of the last plague that will be launched over Egypt.

Numbers 3:12-13: "I took all the firstborn of the sons of Israel to me, both men and animals; the day I hurt every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I separated them to me. But I took the Levites into place of all the firstborn of the children of Israel. " Here God explains that the Levites will be chosen to serve him instead of the firstborn of the children of Israel.

John 1:29: "The next day, John saw Jesus approaching and said, 'Here is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!'" This verse makes a connection between the death of the firstborn in exodus and death of Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Hebrews 11:28: "By faith he celebrated the Easter and applied the blood, so that the destroyer would not touch the firstborn of the Israelites." This verse highlights the importance of the celebration of Easter and the application of the blood of the lamb to protect the firstborn of the children of Israel from the last plague in Egypt.
