2 Samuel, 13

34. Meanwhile, Absalom had taken flight. Then the servant on watch looked about and saw a large group coming down the slope from the direction of Bahurim. He came in and reported this, telling the king that he had seen some men coming down the mountainside from the direction of Bahurim.

Verses related to 2 Samuel, 13:

2 Samuel 13 tells the story of Amnon, the eldest son of King David, who fell in love with his sister Tamar and eventually raped her. The chapter deals with topics such as lust, unbridled passion, sexual violence and its consequences.

1. Deuteronomy 22:25-27: "But if it is in the field that man finds the girl who is deposed and forcing, and man only she kills, will not be the man who did it with the girl, only the girl will die However, if it is in the field that man finds the girl who is designed, and the man forcing, then the man who lay with her will die alone. And the girl will do nothing, she is not guilty of death, for it is similar to someone who rises against his neighbor and takes his life. ”This verse talks about the consequences of sexual violence.

2. Proverbs 6:32-33: "Those who commit adultery with a woman lack of understanding; who proceeds to herself destroys. This verse talks about the foolishness of lust and its consequences.

3. 1 Corinthians 6:18: "I ran away from fornication. Any other sin that man commits is outside the body; but he who practices fornication sins against his own body." This verse talks about the importance of escaping lust and unbridled sexuality.

4. Proverbs 7:6-23: This passage describes a woman who tries to seduce a young man and takes him to a dark room, where he seduces him and commits adultery with him. This verse talks about sexual temptation and the consequences of lack of self -control.

5. 2 Timothy 2:22: "It also runs away from the desires of youth, follows justice, faith, love, peace with those who, with pure heart, invoke the Lord." This verse talks about the importance of following justice and holiness instead of giving in to the desires of youth and flesh.
