15. then the man shall bring his wife to the priest, and bring the offering required of her, a tenth of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it and put no frankincense on it, for it is a cereal offering of jealousy, a cereal offering of remembrance, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

Numbers 5 describes a ritual to deal with marital infidelity and the suspicion of adultery. The chapter instructs that a jealous husband can take his wife to the priest, who then prepares a mixture of holy water and land from the tabernacle floor for her to drink. If she is guilty, the bitter liquid will make her womb start and she becomes cursed. If it is innocent, it will not suffer any damage.
