Romans 12:4-5: "For, just as in a body we have many members, and not all members have the same function, so in Christ, being many, we form a body, and each member is linked to all others . Ephesians 4:4-6: "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your vocation; there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and the Father of all , which is upon all, and for all and all. " Here Paul emphasizes the unity of the body of Christ and the importance of maintaining this unity, despite the differences.
1 Peter 4:10-11: "Each one exercises the gift he received to serve others, faithfully managing the grace of God in his various forms. If anyone speaks, do so as who transmits the Word of God. If anyone serves , do it with the strength that God provides, so that in all things God is glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom glory and power is all ever. Amen. " This verse highlights the importance of using spiritual gifts to serve others and bring glory to God.
Colossians 3:15-17: "May the peace of Christ be the arbitrator in your hearts, since you have been called to live in peace as members of one body. And be grateful. The word of Christ richly. Teach and advise each other with all wisdom and sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs grateful to God in your heart. And whatever they do, whether in word or in action, do so in the name of the Lord Jesus , giving through him thanks to God the Father. " This verse highlights the importance of unity and gratitude within the body of Christ, as well as the importance of using spiritual gifts for mutual edification.
1 Corinthians 12:27-31: "Now you are the body of Christ, and each individually his members. And to some God in the Church, first apostles, second prophets, third doctors, then miracles, then gifts to heal, help, governments, varieties of tongues. Are they all apostles? Are they all prophets? Are they all doctors? Are all miracles operators? Do they all have the gift of healing? with zeal the best gifts; and I will show you an even more excellent path. " In this chapter, Paul deals with the diversity of gifts granted by the Holy Spirit to the members of the body of Christ, emphasizing that each has an important and complementary function. Just as each part of the body is important to its proper functioning, each member of the Church is fundamental to the welfare and growth of the body of Christ. This verse highlights the diversity of gifts and the importance of seeking the best gifts to build the church.
