Psalms, 57

11. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: [let] thy glory [be] above all the earth.

Psalm 57 is a prayer of David when he fled from Saul and hid in a cave. He calls for God for help and protection, recognizing that only He is able to save Him. David expresses his confidence in God and his faithfulness, and asks him to send his mercy and truth. Following are five verses related to the topics covered in Psalm 57:

Psalm 7:10: "My shield is in God, who saves the straights of heart." David trusts God to protect and save him.

Psalm 18:2: "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my liberator; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the power that saves me, my tower . " David recognizes that only God can protect and save him, and He is his fortress and refuge.

Psalm 31:3: "For you are my rock and my fortress; for the sake of your name, lead me and guide me." David trusts God to guide him and protect him for the sake of his name.

Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and our fortress, aid always present in adversity." David finds refuge in God, trusting that he is a present aid in times of adversity.

Psalm 59:9: "O my strength, it is in you that I trust; you, O God, you are my refuge." David trusts God as his strength and refuge, recognizing that only He is able to save Him.
