Exodus, 30

20. When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:

Verses related to Exodus, 30:

Exodus 30 deals with the making of the altar of incense, the offer of atonement of the middle-shekel, the washing bronze basin and the mixture of sacred oil. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in the chapter, excluding Exodus 30 verses:

Ezekiel 8:11: "And before them was the man standing, his right hand raised to the East; and worshiped the sun, putting himself to his left side." This verse talks about the idolatrous practice of worshiping the sun, which is contrary to the law of God. This relates to Exodus 30, which speaks of the offer of atonement of the middle-shekel as a form of redemption of God's people.

2 Chronicles 4:6: "He also did ten basins, and put five on the right and five on the left to wash them; the work of the Holocaust washed in them, but the basin was for the priests to wash." This verse describes the construction of the washing bronze basins, which were used in the Temple of Solomon. This relates to Exodus 30, which also speaks of the bronze basin for washing that was made for the tabernacle.

Leviticus 16:12: "And will take a censer full of embers of fire from the altar, from before the Lord, and both his hands full of aromatic incense powder, and will bring him into the veil." This verse talks about the use of incense in sacred service, which was placed on the altar of incense. This relates to Exodus 30, which speaks of making the altar of incense and the mixture of sacred oil to be used in it.

2 Kings 12:13: "However, of the money of the offers for the guilt and money of sin offers, there were no gold glasses or basins for ministry, nor for the burnt offering; because of that it was given to the workers." This verse talks about the use of guilt and sin offerings to finance the construction of the temple. This relates to Exodus 30, which speaks of the atonement of the atonement of the middle-shekel as a form of financing of the tabernacle.

Hebrews 7:25: "Therefore, it can also perfectly save those who come to God, always living to intercede for them." This verse talks about the intercession of Jesus Christ for sinners. This relates to Exodus 30, which talks about the offer of atonement of the middle-shekel as a form of redemption of the people of God and as a means of acclaiming to Him.
