Deuteronomy, 9

3. Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God [is] he which goeth over before thee; [as] a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.

Deuteronomy 9 highlights God's faithfulness to fulfill their promises to the people of Israel, even if they were rebellious and disobedient. " This verse highlights God's promise to transform the hearts of His people and write their law into their hearts, that they may obey and be faithful to him.

Romans 3:23-24: "For all have sinned and deprived are of the glory of God; being justified free of charge by His grace, by redemption in Christ Jesus." This verse reinforces the idea that all have sinned and need God's grace and mercy to be justified and saved, as was the case with the people of Israel.
