Leviticus, 6

2. Whosoever shall sin, and despising the Lord, shall deny to his neighbour the thing delivered to his keeping, which was committed to his trust; or shall by force extort any thing, or commit oppression;

Verses related to Leviticus, 6:

Leviticus 6 presents specific instructions for the priesthood about the offering of sacrifices, the use of the altar and the manipulation of the ashes. The following verses are related to these themes:

Leviticus 6:9: "Give order to Aaron and his children, saying, This is the Holocaust Law; it is the burnt burning holocaust over the altar all night until the morning, and the altar fire will burn in it." This verse is a continuation of the instructions for offering the Holocaust and indicates that it should be burned continuously on the altar, keeping the fire lit.

Leviticus 6:13: "The fire will continually burn on the altar; it will not go out." This verse emphasizes the importance of fire never erasing on the altar.

Leviticus 6:25: "Speak to Aaron and his children, saying, This is the law of sacrifice for sin: where the holocaust shall be sworn, the sacrifice for sin will be degolar before the Lord; it is a very holy thing." Here instructions are presented for the offering of the sacrifice for sin, which must be done in the same place as the Holocaust before the Lord.

Leviticus 6:26: "The priest who offers him by sin will eat him; in a holy place will be eaten at the atrium of the congregation tent." This verse describes that the priest that offers the sacrifice for sin is the one who must eat it in a holy place.

Leviticus 6:30: "But no sacrifice whose blood is brought to the congregation tent to do atonement in the sanctuary will be eaten; it will be burned in the fire." This verse indicates that certain sacrifices, whose blood is brought to the sanctuary to do atonement, should not be eaten but burned in the fire.
