Isaiah, 40

11. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather together the lambs with his arm, and shall take them up in his bosom, and he himself shall carry them that are with young.

He begins with someone's voice crying out in the desert preparing the way to the Lord and ends with a promise that those who wait in the Lord will renew their strength. Psalm 31:24 - "Heads strong, and shall invigorate your heart, all you who wait in the Lord." This verse encourages those who await the Lord to be strong and to renew their strength.

Isaiah 41:10 - "Do not fear, because I am with you, do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand." This verse talks about God's constant presence with his people, offering them strengthening and support.

Psalm 27:14 - "Wait in the Lord, encourage you, and He will strengthen your heart; wait, therefore, in the Lord." This verse encourages those who wait for the Lord to be animated and strengthened by their power.
