Exodus, 33

19. He answered: I will shew thee all good, and I will proclaim in the name of the Lord before thee: and I will have mercy on whom I will, and I will be merciful to whom it shall please me.

Exodus 33 describes the continuation of Moses's relationship with God after the idolatry of the golden calf. Joshua 1:9: "I am not sending me? Strive and have good encouragement; do not fear, not even amazing; for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you walk." Psalm 23:4: "Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no harm, because you are with me; your stick and your staff comfort me."
