Zechariah 12 describes Jerusalem's restoration and God's return to his people. It is a chapter full of prophecies and visions about the role of Israel and other nations in recent days. Here are five verses from different Bible books that relate to the topics covered in Zechariah 12:
Isaiah 41:14: "Do not fear, Over the worm of Jacob, people of Israel; I help you, say the Lord, and your redeemer is the saint of Israel." This verse brings comfort and safety to Israel in the middle of difficult times, stating that God is His Redeemer and Protector.
Ezekiel 37:21-22: "Tell them therefore: Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will take the children of Israel from the Gentiles, where they have been, and congregate them from all parts, and will lead them to their Earth; And I will do a nation on the earth, in the hills of Israel, and a king will be king of all of them; and will never be two nations, nor will they divide into the future in two kingdoms.
