This verse speaks of the importance of seeking God's righteousness and mercy rather than trusting in our own strengths and resources.
Romans 6:23: "For the salary of sin is death, but God's free gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." This verse speaks of the consequences of sin and the offer of eternal life that God gives through Jesus Christ.
