Mark, 13

11. And when they have seized you and handed you over, do not consider in advance what to say. But whatever will be given you in that hour, say that. For you will not be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

Verses related to Mark, 13:

Mark's chapter 13 is known as the "Mount of Olives Speech," in which Jesus talks about the destruction of the temple, the end of time and his second coming. The chosen verses are:

Matthew 24:42: "Therefore, watch out, because you do not know what day your Lord will come." In this verse, Jesus is instructing his disciples to be aware and prepared for his second coming, who will come unexpectedly.

Matthew 24:14: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Jesus states that the Gospel will be preached all over the world before the end of time, indicating that salvation will be available to all nations.

Revelation 1:7: "Behold, he comes with the clouds, and every eye he will see him, even those who have passed him; and all the tribes of the earth will regret because of him. Surely it will happen! Amen!" This verse refers to the second coming of Christ, when everyone will see his glory and authority.

Revelation 22:12: "Behold, I come soon! My reward is with me, and I will return to each one according to what you did." Here Jesus reaffirms his coming and promises to reward each person according to his works.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: "For the Lord will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with a voice of archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will raise first. Then we, those who are alive, will be taken together together with them in the clouds, to the encounter with the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. " This excerpt refers to the second coming of Christ, when the dead will be raised and believers who are alive will be taken up to find the Lord in the air.
