Genesis 10 is known as the "Nations Table" as it presents the genealogy of Noah's children and their respective nations. The chapter also describes the geographical distribution of these nations.
1 Chronicles 1:5 - "The Sons of Japhel: Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meseque and Strips." This verse relates to Genesis 10 because Japé is one of Noah's sons and his offspring is listed in the nations table.
Isaiah 11:10 - "That day the root of Jesse will emerge as a standard of the peoples; the nations will turn to him, and his place of rest will be glorious." This verse relates to Genesis 10 because it describes the hope that all nations, including those listed in the nations table, will turn to the Messiah.
Acts of Apostles 2:9-11 - "Births, Fears, Elamite; Inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Ponto and Asia, Phrygia and Panfilia, Egypt and Libyan regions near Cyrene; Visitors of Rome (both Jews and converted to Judaism); Cretenses and Arabs - We hear these men speaking in our own languages about the wonders of God. Ezekiel 27:13 - "Javan, Tubal and Mesque negotiated with you; they exchanged slaves and bronze objects worked by you." This verse relates to Genesis 10 because it mentions Javan, Tubal and Meseque, which are listed as children of Japhel in the nations table.
Revelation 7:9 - "After that I looked, and before me was a large crowd that no one could count, all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and lamb, dressed in white robes, with palms in the hands." This verse relates to Genesis 10 because it describes a future view of worship of God, which will include people from all nations, tribes, and tongues, including those listed in the nations table.
