Deuteronomy, 31

29. For I know that, after my death, you will act with iniquity, and you will quickly depart from the way that I have instructed to you. And so, evils will meet you in the end time, when you will have done evil in the sight of the Lord so as to provoke him through the works of your hands.”

Deuteronomy 31 addresses the transition from Moses to Joshua and the importance of obedience to God's law. Moses instructs the people to follow God's commandments, reminding them that the rebellion will have serious consequences. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Deuteronomy 31:

Joshua 1:7-8: "Only be strong and very brave to be careful to do according to the whole law that my servant Moses ordered you; it does not deviate from it, neither right nor left, so that you may be Successful wherever you walk. Do not depart from your mouth the book of this law, first meditate on him day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in Him; successful." Joshua is in charge of leading the people, and God commands him to be strong and brave and obey the law of Moses to succeed.

Joshua 23:6: "He thirsts hard to keep you and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, not turning to you to the right or left." Joshua reminds the people of the importance of obeying God's law and not deviating from it.

Psalm 119:165: "Great peace have those who love your law, and for them there is no stumble." Obedience to God's law brings peace and avoids sin.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust the Lord of all your heart, and do not stir in your own understanding. Recognizes him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths." Confidence in God and obedience to your law are important for guidance in life.

Romans 2:13: "For the simple listeners of the law are not righteous before God, but those who practice the law will be justified." Obedience to God's Law is important for justification before Him.
