Judges, 14

19. And the spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he went down to Ascalon, and slew there thirty men, whose garments he took away and gave to them that had declared the riddle. And being exceeding angry he went up to his father's house:

Judges 14 tells the story of Samson, one of the judges of Israel, who asks his parents to look for a wife for him among the Philistines. They agree, but Samson falls in love with a woman who doesn't please her parents. During the wedding, Samson proposes a riddle to the party guests, who is only resolved with the help of Samson's wife. He gets furious and kills thirty Philistine men to fulfill the bet.
