Chapter 11 of the Judges Book tells the story of Jephtha, a brave warrior who was chosen as leader of his people in a time of conflict and oppression. Jephtter makes a vow to the Lord, promising that if he overcomes the battle against the Ammonites, he will sacrifice the first person who leaves his home to find him. Unfortunately, this person ends up being his own daughter, and Jephtter finds himself facing a terrible choice.

Judges 11:30-31: "Jephtter made a vow to the Lord: 'If you surrender the ammonitous in my hands, whatever the first person leaving the door of my house to receive me when I return in triumph, that person will belong to Lord and I will offer her in Holocaust '. " These verses introduce the vote of Jephthah and the tragedy he will eventually cause.

Deuteronomy 23:21: "If you make any vow to the Lord, your God, be sure to fulfill Him, for the Lord your God will surely ask you accounts, and a delay in fulfilling Him will be considered sin." This verse shows the importance of fulfilling the vows made to God, even if they are difficult or painful.

Proverbs 20:25: "It is a trap to consecrate something hastily and only think about the consequences after the vote is done." This verse warns against making votes without thinking about the consequences, as was the case with Jephtter.

Hebrews 11:32: "And what else will I say? I have no time to talk about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephtha, David, Samuel, and the prophets," This verse mentions Jephtter as a hero of faith, despite his flaws and errors.

2 Corinthians 5:7: "For we live by faith, and not for what we see." This verse talks about the importance of faith in God, even when things do not seem to make sense or are difficult to understand, as was the case with Jephthah in their difficult situation.
