" Paul instructs Timothy to teach the rich to put their hope in God rather than their riches, and to be generous in their donations to accumulate treasures in heaven.

Malachi 3:10: "Bring the whole tithing to the temple warehouse, so that there may be food in my house. Put me to the test," says the Lord of hosts, "and see if I won't open the heavenly floodgates and spill over You so many blessings that you will have nowhere to keep them. " God challenges his people to be generous in their tithes and promises to bless them abundantly in return.
