Genesis, 8

13. In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried from off the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry.

Chapter 8 of Genesis deals with the end of the flood and the departure of Noah and his family from the ark. It is described as the waters gradually lowered and finally the ark rested over Mount Ararate. Noah sent a crow and a dove to verify the existence of dry earth. Hebrews 11:7 - "By faith noah, when warned about things that were not yet seen, moved by holy fear, built an ark to save his family. Matthew 24:37-39-"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of man. For in the days before the flood, the people lived eating and drinking, marrying and giving themselves to marriage, until the The day Noah entered the ark; and they realized nothing, until the flood came and took them to all. So it will be at the coming of the Son of man. 1 Peter 3:20-21 - "... that in another time they were rebellious, when God's patience expected in Noah's days, while preparing the ark; in which few, namely eight souls, were saved through the water that also now, by the corresponding figure, baptism saves you, not being the removal of the dirt from the body, but the answer of good conscience to God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
