Chapter 13 of 2 Kings narrates the final story of King Jehoes of Israel, which is described as a leader who has done evil before the Lord. During his reign, he asks the prophet Elisha for help to overcome a battle against the Syrians, but even so, he cannot ward off Israel from idolatry. This verse talks about the importance of doing good instead of evil and following God's will.
